Summary:

Voltage and load - frequency regulation of power systems can be affected by the connection of large amounts of wind power generation. This paper explores the use of an inertial storage system to address both the active and the reactive power control of a wind park. The wind park is assumed to be equiped witha doubly fed induction generator.

Keywords: wind power generation, inertial storage system, doubly fed induction generator, synchronous reluctance machine
